His At Ease - Eke Victor
Come thou Giants of Africa
The children run free
They bid farewell to their childhood
And in the squalor thou didst slumber in decades past
Will thou still lay?
Arise! Sons of the black giants
For thy duties awaiteth thee
And through the hearts of the forests
The cry of thy daughters are heard
Laying on dusts and bitten by insects
Come! Nigeria for i have heard thy voice
Come! Ye chosen generation for thou art not despised
Come! Nigeria for Sambisa is my creation
Come! Giants for at every cardinal point, i am found
Come! Eagles for thy strength is fleeting
Wilt thou turn to me?
Wilt thou hearken to my voice?
Wilt thou seek for my aid and misprize the red Indies?
Wilt thou give me just one chance?
Come Back to me Nigeria!
For i did hear thee mock thy leaders saying;
"There Is God o"
And here at my feet lay millions of your complaints
Yet my existence ye question
Come back to me Nigeria
For I am ready to blot thy guilts
I have seen the deeds of Shekau
My blood is being spilled in Gwoza
My flesh, burning in Nyanya
And my bones broken in Mubi
Come back to me Nigeria
For thou hast forsaken Me
And on my altars are blood of the innocent
On my pulpits are miscreants and jailbirds
Extorting and robbing my people corporately,
And in the stalls are attention-seekers
Weep thou Giant of Africa
For thy love for Me has gone to the pot
Fall to thy knees and seek me
Wait with patience, And thou shall find good luck in due season
